Apperley welcome Lashings
On Friday August 19th Apperley Cricket Club take on the might of Lashings and the chance to see world class cricketers in a village cricket environment!
WELCOME to what we hope will be a sunny day at Apperley for the biggest day for the club since we played at Lords in 1998 in the final of the Village Knock out trophy. Thank to everybody that came and made it such a great day - we raised a sum of over £8,000 for the club and nearly £500 for charity.

Lashings are composed entirely of retired or current International players and have some of the greatest cricketers in recent history play for them e.g. Courtney Walsh, Viv Richards, Brian Lara and Darren Gough.
We are raising funds on the day to complete and repair the nets that get plenty of use from the local children and for charity.
We are asking for volunteers from the village to assist and run the event to ensure it is a memorable day and to raise awareness of the event and maybe even to get a table of cricket enthusiasts together!
The game will start at 2:30 and last 35 overs per side and the day for the corporate guests will start at 11:30.

This will feature 2 celebrities (Pat Sanderson, ex-England Rugby Captain and Faye Hatcher, BBC Local Radio Personality and a famous TV Antiques Expert, Phillip Serrell)
